BONUS: Queer Stories, Queer Authors, African book Festival

Today, in this bonus episode of A SEAT WITH ME, we talk books. Queer books, queer authors, African authors.

I've had the pleasure to volunteer at the African Book Festival here in Berlin that went on for three days. It was their 4th edition and their 1st Queer edition. During those 3 days, you had readings, panel discussions, poetry night, African food and market and more. Obviously, when left alone to my own devices with books, i loose my mind and spend all my money. Today, we are talking about all the books i bought at the African Book Festival as well as all the authors i had the privilege to meet. Because yeah, i don't want to brag but i was able to get (almost) all my books signed by their authors and talk to them one-on-one.

What a blessing to attend such a great event and even more being able to talk to all the authors, have enlightening conversations, meet amazing volunteers and bookworms like me.

The Festival is organised by a local bookstore here in Berlin: https://www.interkontinental.org. Check them out!

Support queer authors, support women authors, read books 💛

So come and take,

A Seat With Me.
